JUNIOR WINTER COMPETITION – Hinterland District Netball Association
This competition is open to all players Under 7 – Under 18. This competition runs from February – September of each calendar year.
This season is a traditional junior sporting season comprising of weekly training and a game on Saturday.
Training starts mid February, with Saturday games commencing mid March. The Junior Winter season concludes mid September of each year. No Training or Games are held during school holidays or on long weekends.
JUNIORS TWILIGHT COMPETITION – Hinterland District Netball Association
Following the conclusion of the Junior Winter Season, a Twilight competition is also offered to keep the players engaged during the ‘off season’. This competition runs from October – December (usually coinciding with Term 4 of the school year)
This is a 10 week round robin style competition, usually played on a Monday afternoon, with game times being 4:30 or 5:30pm.
This competition is generally available for U7 – U13 age bracket.
Day Carnivals are also played sporadically during the year on a Sunday. These are often ‘all day’ events and hosted by different Netball Associations all over the South East. We ‘aim’ to get to at least 1, maybe 2 of these a season, as it’s a great day out and good team bonding for the players. Ample knowledge is always given prior to committing and there is no pressure to attend, as we understand many families may also have prior commitments.
